Square Enix Japan-Only Mobile Game Grimms Notes Comes to the West


Square Enix released a mobile game, Grimms Notes, in Japan in January. The game achieved over 15 million downloads since then. Now, the company is bringing the successful title to North America, Europe, and China, Square Enix announced.

Grimms Notes is a "new interpretation RPG" which takes fairy-tale characters like Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Alice and more, and puts them in a mash-up RPG story.

COLOPL has announced yesterday (6th September), that their mobile title Shiro Neko Project will begin their collaboration event with Re:Zero on 8th September. In the upcoming collaboration, Emilia, Rem, and Ram will make an appearance in the world of Shiro Neko Project. The collaboration will also feature an original story written by the creator of Re:Zero, Tappei Nagatsuki (長月達平)! Mobile RPG Logres heads to UK and US after racking up eight million downloads in Japan

Marvelous Inc and Aiming Inc have launched their turn-based RPG Logres of Swords and Sorcery in English-speaking territories under the new name of Logres: Japanese RPG. The game is now available on iOS and Android in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UK and the US. Aside from a change in name, little else has been altered to keep its "unapologetically Japanese" style. To entice players in, users who create an account and finish the first quest will receive all the benefits made available to pre-registered players. This offer will end on June 28th 2017. Stick around and pour some money in The Western release of Logres was announced back in March 2017 after it had achieved eight million downloads in its home country of Japan.
